APPLICATION PROCESS TO FILL VACANCY OF DISTRICT 1 COUNCIL SEAT
The City of King is accepting applications to fill the vacant seat on City Council representing District 1. Serving on the City Council provides an excellent opportunity for those interested in in a leadership role to help shape policies, services and the overall future of the community. The appointment will be selected by the City Council at a special meeting on March 22nd at 6:00 p.m.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, a resident of District 1 and a registered voter. District 1 includes residents who live north of King Street from Mildred Avenue to the west and Beech Street to the east. Residents may confirm their district by accessing the Voting Districts map at www.kingcity.com under the “For Residents” menu.
Applications are available at City Hall or on the City website at www.kingcity.com under “Documents and Forms – City Manager” or in the Spotlight section at the bottom of the homepage.

PROCESO DE SOLICITUD PARA LLENAR LA VACANTE DEL ASIENTO DEL CONSEJO DEL DISTRITO 1
La Ciudad de King City está aceptando solicitudes para llenar el puesto vacante en el Concejo Municipal que representa al Distrito 1. Servir en el Concejo Municipal brinda una excelente oportunidad para aquellos interesados en un papel de liderazgo para ayudar a dar forma a las políticas, los servicios y el futuro general de la comunidad. El nombramiento será seleccionado por el Concejo Municipal en una reunión especial el 22 de marzo a las 6:00 p.m.
Los solicitantes deben tener al menos 18 años de edad, ser residente del Distrito 1 y ser votante registrado. El Distrito 1 incluye residentes que viven al norte de King Street desde Mildred Avenue al oeste y Beech Street al este. Los residentes pueden confirmar su distrito accediendo al mapa de distritos electorales en www.kingcity.com en el menú “Para residentes”.
