The City will host a Grand Reopening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the King City Skate Park on June 21st at 5:30 p.m. This will coincide with National Skateboard Day. It will feature a formal dedication, skateboarding demonstrations, giveaways, and more.
The Skate Park has all new ramps and next week six solar powered lights will be installed to increase safety and usage during early evening hours. The lights are being funded by King City Community Power (KCCP) and a donation by Pilot Power Group, the City’s operator of KCCP. Solar technology will help decrease electricity costs and prevent climate change.
