The City of King is now accepting business assistance applications for those who have been impacted financially by the pandemic. Grants for up to $10,000 per eligible business will be provided by the City of King and the State of California CDBG program. Beginning on February 27, 2023, businesses who did not apply during Phase I will be allowed to submit applications, which will be processed and awarded on a first come first served basis. Beginning April 17, 2023, if there are remaining funds available, prior grant recipients may apply again for an additional grant of $5,000 that can be used for retrofits, utility payments and/or rent or mortgage payments. Applications will be accepted until June 15,2023 or until funds have been expended. All applicants are encouraged to carefully review the full guidelines.
