The King City Police Records Bureau is responsible for maintenance of all incident, arrest and traffic records prepared by department personnel for the City of King. They assist the general public, department personnel, and representatives from other agencies in obtaining police related information. They provides copies of police reports to citizens, insurance companies, lawyers, city prosecutor, county attorney, victim witness, etc. They handle records related to warrants, subpoenas, summons and related paperwork. They also complete mandated state and federal monthly reports and crime statistics. The Records Bureau is responsible for ensuring the proper disposal of confidential materials and reports that have met state purge criteria and images records for retention purposes.
