As the Chief of your police department I wish to take a moment to extend to you my sincere gratitude for the chance to serve in this office. The officers, support staff and command staff who work tirelessly for you have a sincere interest for your safety and wellbeing. It is the mission of King City Police to protect life and property, provide professional police services, and work in collaboration with the community. I believe whole heartedly that I, as well as all of the staff of King city Police Department serve you, the community of King City. With this belief I truly wish to hear of any commendations, concerns or complaints you may have. I hold monthly meeting in the City Council Chambers every second Thursday of the month. I have an advisory board of community members who sit with me to hear from the community. I would encourage you to attend these meetings and ask any questions or voice concerns.

If you have a specific complaint regarding an officer or staff of the King City Police Department or a commendation please follow the attached link to submit a complaint or commendation. You may also contact the city manager or any city council member to report a complaint or offer a commendation.

About The Department

The Police Department is authorized 17 sworn officers, and three non-sworn personnel. The current authorized staffing includes the Chief of Police, Police Captain, Police Sergeants (5), and Police Officers (10). Those sworn positions are supported by the Executive Assistant to the Chief of Police / Records & Property Supervisor, a Police Clerk, a Code Enforcement Officer and an Animal Control Officer. The department services include various police patrol services, vehicle abatement program, live scan fingerprinting, School Resource services, and crime prevention through environmental design.
