What is a Housing Element?
The State requires local government to adopt a Housing Element every 5-8 years. The 2015-2023 Housing Element Update addresses issues such as:
- What kind of housing is needed?
- Where should NEW housing be located?
- What can be done to make housing more affordable and accessible for all?
