KING CITY CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) PANDEMIC EMERGENCY PLAN

When the threat of COVID-19 became evident, the City of King immediately developed and implemented a comprehensive Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic Emergency Plan, which continues to be updated as circumstances evolve.  The primary objectives of the plan are to protect the health of the community, the health of the City’s employees, and to ensure adequate staffing is maintained to meet the community’s essential needs.  The City is coordinating closely and meeting regularly via teleconference with the other South Monterey County cities and the City’s multi-agency Emergency Preparedness Committee, which includes representatives from almost every public agency serving the area.
