Lake Nacimiento
Lake Nacimiento lies in Northern San Luis Obispo County, however, the dam and water is controlled by the Monterey County Water Resources Agency. With an abundance of winter rainfall, water levels are at their peak and all facilities are open to the public. Like San Antonio, jet skis are available for rent at Nacimiento. Swimming pool, hot tub, horseshoe pits, beach and picnic areas are all available at the lake. Although Nacimiento is wonderful for water-skiing, boating and camping, it is a fisherman's haven, with 165 miles of shoreline with many coves and inlets. Nacimiento is a very deep lake and contains healthy populations of large mouth and white bass as well sunfish, catfish and crappie.
